The Little Raccoon Creek OH

July 5th 2011

Matt/Christen/Gary

Great trip down The Little Raccoon Creek. Its amazing that so many people don't even know how great of a state we live in until you get out and explore the area. This trip produced well fishing as we caught all kinds of large mouth bass, small mouth bass, rock bass, and bluegill. The water was perfect. Had to get out and port around about five log jams, but the trip was worth it! Like to mention that this was the little girls first trip in a kayak on a stream. She did great! PLEASE SEE MORE PICS AT BOTTOM OF PAGE.

  1. You have some nice fish there. I'm from Southern Ohio and stay in C'bus all week. I'm a "yaker" and looking to find good streams and fishin up here. Caught a walleye and a smallmouth both over a pound last evening on the Big Walnut. Down home we have the best Muskie creek in Ohio, Scioto Brush Creek, a 42 incher was caught in late May this year. Not telling where, but last summer I caught an over 5 lb smallie in the same place.
